A recent report by Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and IMRB International predicts that India’s online ad market will reach INR 7,044 crore by the end of 2016. The Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for this increase is 35%. Isn’t that huge?
More interestingly, search ads (advertising majorly on Google searches) takes up the share over 30%. The banners/display ads stayed at staggering 23% and ads on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter and others) consolidated at 18%.
